Claims Limit Will Damage Access to Justice

In June 2006, the Law Society commenced a survey of the
profession's opinion on the small claims financial limits. Almost
1000 solicitors registered to take part in the campaign. Of the
respondents, 96% acted for claimants and 4% for defendants. We
will be using these results in our campaign to prevent an increase
to the small claims limit.
