Daily Law Notes SummaryEmployee on longterm sick was dismissed for fraudulently
obtaining sick pay. His appeal was heard by the man who made
that decision and his appeal from that was thrown out by the
employer for delay. The Employment Tribunal allowed his unfair
dismissal appeal but refused him permission to claim disability
discrimination out of time. The employers lost the appeal about
the dismissal and so did he about the disability discrimination
claim.
