Sick Rules For Disabled Employee?

Disability Discrimination - Sick Pay Rules Not Actionable
O'Hanlon v Revenue and Customs Comrs
EAT
4 August 2006
Daily Law Notes Summary
Considering reasonableness of steps taken to assist disabled
employee and also ruling that the fact that disabled person was
given same sick pay than ordinary employee (who was likely to have
time off sick) was not actionable in circumstances where it would
not be reasonable to change the existing sick pay scheme.  Query -
do new or small organisations have a duty to have different sick
pay rules for the disabled employee?
