Forty Areas Appointed to Lead the Respect Programme

One year on from the launch of the Government's Respect Action
Plan, major progress is being made in the drive to tackle
anti-social behaviour and create a modern culture of respect.
Today, the Government is establishing a first wave of 40 Respect
Areas which have earned the right to be exemplars of the Respect
programme by their strong track record in tackling anti-social
behaviour, and a willingness and capacity to do more.
