Police and Discrimination Disclosure

Unless Orders Resulting In Breaking the Law
Coles v Barracks (Secretary of State for the Home Department
intervening): [2006] EWCA Civ 1041
CA
31 July 2006
Daily Law Notes Summary
In a discrimination case the Tribunal did not believe that the
Police were prevented by law from disclosing why the claimant
failed its vetting procedure and so was not given a job she
applied for.  A judge though was so satisfied after an in camera
hearing and the CA supported his decision to remit the matter to
the tribunal for further consideration.
