Maintenance Agreements for the Very Rich

Maintenance Agreement - Wealthy Parties
Hill v Morgan [2006] EWCA Civ 1602
CA
28 November 2006
Daily Law Notes Summary
The court could alter a maintenance agreement reached between the
unmarried parents of a child where it was satisfied that the
agreement did not contain proper financial arrangements with
respect to the child. The resulting alteration had to be just
with regard to the circumstances of the case. It was not
reasonable to impose financial obligations on a party for the
benefit of another person’s child.
