Mistaken Job Application Not Fraudulent

Application for Employment
Regina v Patel
[2006] EWCA Crim 2689
CA
25 October 2006, reported January 2007
Daily Law Notes Summary
The defendant forgot to mention a conditional discharge on a
police job application.   Her prosecution for fraud was thrown
out.  The appeal by the prosecution was dismissed because a
conditional discharge is not a "conviction."
