Barristers must be prepared to modernise their practices if they
are to thrive in the reformed market for legal services, the
profession's leader warned today. Addressing 500 barristers
gathering for their annual conference in London Mr Hockman called
on the profession to remain united and cohesive in the face of
future challenges.
