The Bar Council today welcomed the publication of the latest International Financial Services London (IFSL) report on Legal Services. The report incorporates detailed statistics on the amount of primary and invisible revenue which the legal profession’s work generates for London.
The report, sponsored by Combar, the Commercial Bar Association, provides compelling evidence to support claims as to the value of international legal services to London’s economy, and comes at a time when there is growing awareness of the importance to the UK’s wider prosperity of having a leading financial centre for a capital city.
