Bar Warns of Costs of Legal Complaints

The Bar Council, which represents barristers in England and Wales, has given its strongest warning yet over the potential costs of the proposed new Legal Services Board and the Office of Legal Complaints.

The creation of the Board is a central plank of the Legal Services Bill, which begins its sixth and final day of detailed consideration in the House of Lords Committee Stage, Tuesday 6 March.
