HMRC Have SDLT problems

Payments of Stamp Duty Land Tax
HMRC Information
26 September 2006
We are currently experiencing delays processing cheques for SDLT
where the return was filed electronically. If you have sent your
return online and have paid the SDLT by cheque through the post
or DX service and have received a reminder for payment then
please ignore it. We are monitoring the situation closely and
anticipate that this will be resolved shortly. We apologise for
the inconvenience.
