Law Soc Hypocritical HIP Pack Hype?

Law Society Pack Eliminates Risk for Consumers
Law Society Press Release
6 November 2006
The dry run of the Law Society’s home information pack will start
on 6 November in Newcastle. This is the first of the six
government-funded pilot areas in which the Department for
Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Association of
HIP Pack Providers (AHIPP) will be trialling HIPs. The Law
Society trials will be extended to Huddersfield, Northampton,
Southampton, Cambridge and Bath later in the month before being
rolled out nationally.  Solicitors should register with the DCLG
to participate in the trial and also with MDA, who are working
with the Law Society to provide an online HIPs solution for
solicitors.
