Law Society Criticises Mental Health Changes

Law Society Press Release
17 November 2006
Proposals contained in the Mental Health Bill published today are
deeply flawed, says the Law Society.  The Bill does not do enough
to protect the rights of mental health patients and it includes
some of the more controversial proposals from the previous Draft
Mental Health Bill which have been widely condemned.
